Q: How frequently is the scoring and standings pages updated? Does it show live scoring or is the scoring update after each round?

A: The scoring and standings are updated in near real-time throughout the entire tournament. You and your members can login at anytime to see the current standings. You don't have to wait for the end of each day.

Q: I choose to setup our PGA Majors league by eliminating the worst score and only counting 5 players. Can you tell me if this is per round or tournament?

A: The player whose score will be dropped will be the one that is doing the worst for the whole tournament.

It does not determine it by day, so the player (or players) being dropped can change throughout the tournament and the site removes the worst player in real time. However, it is only the player (or players) who ended up with the worst scores at the end of the tournament that will be dropped.

Q: Is the pricing per entry/ per tournament or does each entry count for all tournaments?

A: The pricing covers each entry for all of the tournaments.

Q: What happens if a player misses submitting their picks for one of the tournaments? How does this affect a members chances of winning the season cumulative competition?

A: If you are basing your standings on total strokes, players without picks for a tournament will be listed as such in the cumulative report and must be ineligible to win the season long competition (their strokes will be significantly lower than everyone elses).

If you are basing the standings on winnings, then they are still eligible as they will simply have $0 for the missed tournament.

NOTE: Depending on your pool rules, the commissioner can always enter picks for someone after the deadline by going to Commissioner Console --> Member Pick Maintenance

Q: Are we locked in with the same 6 players for each tournament, or can you update them before each major?

A: Members will pick 6 different golfers for each major.

Q: Can we edit players tiers?

A: No, this is not an option. The only choices are the tiered pick sheet or the salary pick sheet only.

Q: Can we edit players salaries or salary cap?

A: No, this is not an option.

Q: What does "projected bonus" mean in the current standings?

A: Commissioners can assign bonus points for members picking golfers in top finishing positions. Please go to Commissioner Console --> Pool Settings --> Pick & Scoring Settings

Q: What happens if a golfer withdraws?

A: It depends on when he officially withdraws.

If a golfer withdraws before the pick deadline and we are informed of it, he will be disabled and marked as withdrawn on the pick sheet. Anyone who has already picked the golfer and does not change the pick before the pick deadline will be stuck with the withdrawn player, and will receive the worst score of the day for any rounds not played.

If the golfer withdraws after the pick deadline, he will be treated the same as a cut golfer and given the highest (worst) score of all the golfers for each round.

Q: How does the tie-breaker work? Is it simply the closest score or is it the closest score without going over?

A: We do not declare winners since people might have their own method for declaring a winner. We simply show you the tiebreak values entered by your members and allow you to decide how they are applied.

Most of our customers simply use the closest to the score (not closest without going over).

Q: What does MDF mean?

A: MDF means Made Cut Did Not Finish. It usually translates to a person being cut after the 3rd round. In terms of scoring in our system they will be treated as a CUT player for any rounds not played.

Q: If a picked player misses the cut, what happens?

A: Any player that withdraws or misses the cut will receive the highest (worst) score turned in by a golfer completing that round. Cut players will get the highest score turned in on Saturday and Sunday.

Q: How can I change my entry name that appears in reports?

A: Entry names can be changed on your entries page within the pool. Click on the appropriate pool membership on your Pool Memberships page. Once in the pool, navigate to the 'Your Picks' tab and click the 'rename' link next to the entry you would like to change.

Q: Can we select which tournaments are included in our pool?

A: Yes. Just go to Commissioner Console --> Pool Settings --> Tournament Settings. You can check the specific tournaments you want to active in your pool.

Q: How will the scoring for the TOUR Championship work?

A: Golfers will start the TOUR Championship with bonus strokes based on their position in the FedEx Cup Standings. The following bonus strokes will apply: 1st: -10, 2nd: -8, 3rd: -7, 4th: -6, 5th: -5, 6-10th: -4, 11-15th: -3, 16-20th: -2, 21-25th -1, 26-30: Even. In addition, the total prize pool is $60 million, roughly 4-8x times that of other tournaments.

Q: When is the deadline for making picks for members?

A: All picks must be entered before the first scheduled tee time of the tournament. If there is a weather delay, the pick deadline will still be the original tee time.

Q: Can I add a member's picks for them after the pick deadline?

A: Yes. To do so, follow these steps:

1. If they did not join yet, click the 'Add a Member' link under Commissioner Console --> Member Management.
2. Click the 'Member Pick Maintenance' link in the Commissioner Console.
3. Follow the instructions on screen.

Q: Does RYP send weekly pick reminders to participants?

A: Your members can opt-in to weekly reminders sent by the RunYourPool service. The option is available at the top of their entries page.

By default, this option is turned off. We do not allow pool commissioners to turn this on for all participants, as that would increase the likelihood of emails from our email address being marked as spam.

Q: Can I see my pool standings and results from previous years?

A: Yes. Go to Reports --> Pool History
