Q: What is a Playoff Power Ranking pool?
A: NFL fans are familiar with the term Power Rankings, which ranks teams from strongest to weakest based on stats or perception. This pool format is built around that concept:

  • Members rank all 14 NFL playoff teams from strongest (14 points) to weakest (1 point)

  • Each time a team wins, members earn the number of points they assigned to that team

  • Commissioners can also set point multipliers for each playoff round

  • Note: Teams on a first-round bye do not earn points that week

Q: What scoring options are available?
A: There are two options:

Simple Scoring: Members receive their assigned point value each time that team wins, regardless of round.
Custom Scoring: Members receive their assigned point value times a round multiplier you set.

Q: Is there a tie-breaker?
A: Yes — commissioners can toggle a tie-breaker on or off under:
Commissioner Console > Pool Settings > Pick & Scoring Settings > Tie-breaker

Q: How does the point system work?
A: Members earn points for each win equal to their assigned point value for that team, multiplied by any round-specific multiplier you have configured.

Q: Can I change a member's entry name?
A: Yes. Go to your pool membership page, then under Your Picks click the rename link next to their entry.

Q: When are standings and reports updated?
A: Standings typically update within minutes of each game’s conclusion, but please note there is no guaranteed update time.

Q: Can I add picks for a member after the deadline?
A: Yes. Here’s how:

  1. If they have not joined, click Add a Member in Commissioner Console > Member Management

  2. Then go to Member Pick Maintenance

  3. Select the member and enter their picks

Q: Can I see my pool’s standings and results from previous years?
A: Absolutely. Go to Reports > Pool History.
