Get ready to crown the season’s champion! The top 125 golfers qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, a thrilling three-tournament series that determines the best of the best.
Our pool format for the playoffs closely mirrors the structure used for the majors earlier in the year—easy to join, fun to follow, and packed with competition.
How Do FedExCup Playoff Golf Pools Work?
Take part in the excitement of the PGA FedExCup Playoffs by running your own pool across all three championship tournaments:
The Northern Trust
The BMW Championship
The TOUR Championship
For each tournament, participants select six golfers to form their Player Roster—either by tier or salary cap (details below). The goal is to have the best-performing team based on your chosen scoring method: winnings or strokes.
Golfers who miss the cut will be assigned the highest score for Rounds 3 and 4 and receive $0 in winnings.
Performance is tracked tournament-by-tournament and also cumulatively across all three events to determine the overall pool leader.
Whether your group is full of golf fanatics or complete beginners, this format is easy to follow and fun to play!
Pick and Scoring Options
Pick Sheet Formats
Pool commissioners can choose one of two formats:
Tiered Pick Sheet
Players are grouped into six tiers based on World Golf Rankings. Participants pick one golfer from each tier to build their roster.Salary Cap Pick Sheet
Each golfer is assigned a salary based on their World Golf Ranking. Participants must build a 6-player roster without exceeding a set salary cap.
Additional Pool Settings
Commissioners can further customize their pool with these options:
Drop Worst Pick(s): Automatically exclude a player’s worst performer from the team score.
Finishing Position Bonuses: Add bonuses (e.g., subtract strokes) for golfers who place in the top finishing positions.
Repick Rules: Choose whether players can be selected again in later tournaments or only once across all playoff events.
FedExCup Pool Reports
You’ll have access to a variety of real-time reports, including:

And more!
Tier-Based Pick Sheet
If your pool uses the Tiered Pick Sheet, members will select one player from each of six tiers (also called flights). These tiers are based on World Golf Rankings:
Tier 1: Mostly players ranked in the top 10
Tier 2: Players ranked 11–20
Tiers 3–6: Players continue to be grouped by ranking
This format ensures a balanced mix of top-tier and mid-range talent on each roster.
Easy & Intuitive Picks:
Our platform makes the process simple and error-free. Members can submit or change picks anytime before the first tee time of each tournament, once the official field is entered.
Viewing Picks & Leaderboards
Once the pick deadline has passed:
Picks are locked in
Members gain access to full Pick Summary Reports
Everyone’s selections become visible
Live Leaderboards update automatically as each round is completed. By default, leaderboards are sorted by total strokes, but you can also sort by total winnings or FedExCup points, based on your preferred scoring format.
We track performance for each tournament individually and cumulatively across all three playoff events—helping you crown tournament winners and an overall champion.
What Happens if a Golfer Misses the Cut?
Even elite players miss the cut sometimes. If a rostered player fails to make the cut:
They receive a score equal to the worst (highest) round score among players who did make the cut for Rounds 3 and 4
They earn $0 in winnings
