Yes, you can mark a square as paid (usually for donation/fundraising purposes).
To mark your members squares as paid, you will go into your commissioner console > pool settings > grid settings > select "edit" next to the grid you want to edit > scroll down to "Track Fundraising Donations".
You will have 3 options to chose from:
