Q: How does the NBA Survivor pool format work?
In an NBA Survivor pool (also called Eliminator, Knockout, Suicide, Last Man Standing, or King of the Hill), the goal is simple: survive to the next week!

✅ Each week, members pick the winner of one game (or multiple games if you, the commissioner, increase the difficulty).
✅ If their pick wins, they advance to the next week.

Q: How does someone win the pool?
The last member still “alive” (not eliminated) wins the pool.

Q: When does the pick sheet become available?
The pick sheet will open at the start of each week.

Q: Are there survivor pool options?
Yes — you can choose between:

  • Picking winners (traditional Survivor)

  • Picking losers (Loser’s Pool)
You’ll set this preference when you create your pool.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of entries per member?
No, commissioners can allow multiple entries per member or restrict members to a single entry.

Q: When can I start my pool? Can I pick a specific week?
Yes, you can select which week to start the pool under Pool Settings.

Q: Is auto-pick available?
Yes, you can turn on auto-pick in your pool settings to automatically make picks for members who forget.

Q: Can I revive an eliminated member?
Yes! You can enable “mulligans” in your pool settings, which allow members to survive an incorrect pick. Mulligans can be applied automatically or manually.

Q: Do I need to start a new pool for the playoffs?
No — in your Commissioner Console → Pool Settings, you can choose whether to include just the regular season or extend the pool through the playoffs and NBA Finals.

Q: Can members pick the same team more than once?
That’s up to you! In your Commissioner Console → Pool Settings, you can limit how many times a team can be picked by each member.
