Q: How does the NBA Pick’em format work?
Unlike the NFL, which has a 17-game schedule, the NBA season features hundreds of games. To keep things exciting all season long, our NBA Pick’em pools are designed with flexible rules so you can enjoy the action every week.

Q: How many games per week do members need to pick?
Each pool member will make picks each week:
✅ Picks can be against the point spread (powered by BetMGM) or straight-up
✅ Members earn one point per correct pick (customizable by the commissioner)
✅ Optional features: Best Bet picks or Confidence points
✅ Commissioners choose how many games are required each week

By default, members pick 5 games per week, but you can allow anywhere from 1 game to all available games (be aware there are about 50 NBA games weekly — best for diehard fans).

Q: What if there is a tie?
We offer an optional tiebreaker: members predict the combined score of the final game listed on the pick sheet.

Q: When does the pick sheet become available?
The pick sheet is released at the start of each week. Game lines lock daily at 9 a.m. ET on the day of the game. If you pick a later game, make sure to recheck the line that morning.

Q: When are standings calculated?
Standings are updated weekly, as well as year-to-date.

Q: What is an NBA Pick’em pool?
In an NBA Pick’em pool, members make weekly picks on games, either against the spread or straight-up. The pool commissioner can customize the number of picks per week, and optional best-bet or confidence point systems are available. Pools can track standings weekly and for the full season.

Q: How do you win an NBA Pick’em pool?
The member with the most points at the end of the season is the winner. Points are awarded for each correct pick, based on your pool’s scoring settings.
